Climate Change 2001: A Critique
This Critique was written in 2003 by Gerald E. Marsh,a retired physicist from Argonne National Laboratory, who has worked and published widely in the areas of science, nuclear power and foreign affairs.
It builds on "A Global Warming Primer" available on this website page. Like the Primer, its purpose is to help the reader determine whether our understanding of the earth’s climate is adequate to predict the long-term effects of carbon dioxide emissions from the continued burning of fossil fuels, to permit informed public policy decisions. This is a limited critique, looking only at a few topics covered in the 2001 report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). ClimateChgeCritique.pdf (271 KB)
