Gretchen and Tom Randall have spent their lives in messaging. The first 21 years of their working careers were in advertising and marketing— Gretchen with 3M Company, and Tom with Sears (back when that company was the world’s preeminent retailer).
Following that experience, they ran their own ad agency with those companies among their clients.
Then they moved on to public policy work, first as managing and contributing editors of “Environment and Climate News”, a publication of the Heartland Institute. Next they joined the National Center for Public Policy Research as co-directors for environmental and energy policy before launching their own message consulting firm, Winningreen LLC.
