“Don’t let this tsunami of climate-change alarm distract and fool you. Today’s push for government solutions to a global market failure is right out of the Malthusian playbook. Remember the “population bomb” of the 1960s? Resource exhaustion of the 1970s? Soil erosion, water famines, global cooling,” writes Robert L. Bradley, Jr. of the American Institute for Economic Research.

“Key climate goals of the administration, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions for the energy and transportation sectors, may be held hostage by China. This is because a shift away from fossil fuels depends on lithium ion batteries. Since China dominates that industry, the administration will need its strategy to mitigate the leverage,” according to Nadia Schadlow of The Hill.

Only liberals could be stunned that a place called Greenland was once green. It was, in fact, green more recently, when humans were around to name it so. History tells us that it was more recently green when those who became Viking marauders experienced the cooling we are just coming out of…which caused glaciation, that deprived them of farmland. Apparently what stuns some so-called scientists is that they have been wrong about climate change.

“China’s five-year plan released last night offers an early look at whether the world’s largest emitter is serious about getting on a path to reach its eye-popping new goal of reaching carbon neutrality by 2060. The early returns are underwhelming, as China provided no evidence it plans to reduce its fossil fuel use anytime soon, most importantly coal.,” according to the Washington Examiner.

Colder weather, warmer weather. All are part of normal weather change. Except to a climate alarmist. When they can twist a normal weather event to suit their purposes, it is evidence of climate change. When they can’t, well, never mind. Stephen Moore walks you through it in the Washington Examiner.

Joe Biden claims he wants to lower carbon emissions. Yet, he is at war with the most important fuel doing so — natural gas. He claims we can’t rely on technologies we know about, possibly because he knows wind and solar don’t work.
